Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has approved an application from Durkan BMS that proposes the temporary closure of Brennanstown Road from its junction with Carrig Glen Estate to its junction with Old Bray Road from Tuesday 4th August 2026 to Monday, 24th August 2026.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

The purpose of the closure is to complete surface water drainage.
